Multi‑Skilled Craftsperson (Electrical Bias)

About the role

We are seeking a versatile Multi‑Skilled Craftsperson with an electrical bias to join our hospital estates team. Working both independently and collaboratively, you will deliver efficient repair and maintenance services across a wide range of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment in diverse clinical and non‑clinical environments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance on hospital equipment and plant.
• Carry out statutory inspections within your delegated area and maintain accurate compliance records.
• Respond to on‑call requests, attending the hospital promptly when required.
• Maintain clear documentation of work performed and inspections completed.
• Utilise personal vehicle and a valid driving licence to travel between sites as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with basic IT tools for record‑keeping and reporting.
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
