About the role
Albert Bartlett is seeking Multi‑Skilled Engineers to support its fresh‑potato packing and chilled processed‑goods sites in Boston, Lincolnshire. You will join a progressive family‑owned business that values quality, innovation and sustainability.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults quickly to minimise production downtime.
- Assist with installation, commissioning and refurbishment of new and existing machinery.
- Implement and follow preventative‑maintenance schedules in line with health‑and‑safety policies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Work with production and engineering teams to identify continuous‑improvement opportunities.
Required profile
- Relevant engineering qualification in mechanical, electrical or multi‑skilled engineering.
- Proven experience as a multi‑skilled engineer, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities for both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to high health‑and‑safety standards.
