Multi‑Skilled Engineer – Manufacturing Plant

About the role

Albert Bartlett is seeking Multi‑Skilled Engineers to support its fresh‑potato packing and chilled processed‑goods sites in Boston, Lincolnshire. You will join a progressive family‑owned business that values quality, innovation and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults quickly to minimise production downtime.
• Assist with installation, commissioning and refurbishment of new and existing machinery.
• Implement and follow preventative‑maintenance schedules in line with health‑and‑safety policies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Work with production and engineering teams to identify continuous‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering qualification in mechanical, electrical or multi‑skilled engineering.
• Proven experience as a multi‑skilled engineer, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities for both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to high health‑and‑safety standards.
