National Account Manager – Industrial Equipment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to drive new business and grow existing relationships for a leading manufacturer of industrial equipment and consumables. You will work across the UK, visiting key industrial end‑users and distribution partners, and will be responsible for expanding our market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, win and develop national accounts within industrial end‑users and distribution channels.
• Generate new business opportunities, land new contracts and expand existing accounts.
• Engage with senior stakeholders, including board members, procurement and purchasing teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure delivery of product solutions and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and report on sales performance against targets.

Required profile

• Proven success as a Business Development Manager selling industrial equipment or consumables.
• Experience managing large, strategic accounts in the industrial sector.
• Hunter mentality with a strong drive for new business acquisition.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills and a professional, memorable presence.
• Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK indefinitely.

• Basic salary £55,000‑£60,000 per year.
