Store Manager - Toolstation Nottingham

About the role

Toolstation, part of Travis Perkins plc, is recruiting a Store Manager for its Nottingham West Bridgford store. The post is permanent and full time, 40 hours per week, with a salary of £31,459.09 per year. Stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so early starts and late finishes are required.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver great service and ensure the team provides a great customer experience, driving sales through service.
• Help the team get the job done: check and unpack deliveries, open and close the branch, stock shelves, clean the branch and put orders together.
• Build a positive culture of feedback, praise and recognition, and encourage a positive mindset.
• Support team development, future business growth and succession.
• Make sure customers leave with everything they need for their job.
• Lead by coaching, motivating and engaging the team, and build a fun working environment.
• Maintain product availability and high branch standards.

Required profile

• A proven track record of developing high-performing, engaged retail teams.
• Dedication to leading a team that delivers sales through excellent customer service.
• Enjoys teamwork and getting hands dirty, and is passionate about developing future leaders.
• Customer focus, resilience and flexibility, with effective planning.
