National Account Manager – Strategic Accounts (Capital Equipment)

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious, dynamic National Account Manager to drive growth for a worldwide capital equipment manufacturer. You will manage our most strategic accounts, increase customer spend, and champion the adoption of new products and services across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the company’s most strategic accounts and deliver profitable revenue and margin growth.
• Identify, qualify and secure new opportunities within existing accounts.
• Lead customer discussions focused on value creation, productivity improvement and risk reduction.
• Drive introduction and adoption of new products, services and technologies.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management and Commercial teams to accelerate market adoption.
• Structure agreements that deliver value for both customers and the business.
• Personally lead the closure of strategic, high‑value opportunities.
• Act as the commercial lead for major accounts and coordinate internal resources.

Required profile

• Proven track record in account management, business development or commercial sales.
• Experience managing strategic customer relationships and complex stakeholder groups.
• Knowledge of service contracts, CAPEX or new product launches is advantageous.
• Strong negotiation and closing capability.
• Strategic thinker with solid business and financial acumen.
• Collaborative and able to lead cross‑functional initiatives.
