NDORS Trainer & Quality Assessor

About the role

Our client, a leading public‑sector organisation, is looking for an experienced NDORS Trainer & Quality Assessor to join its Driver Improvement Team in Essex. The role combines delivery of National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) courses with quality‑assurance responsibilities, supporting road‑safety initiatives across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver NDORS training both online (via Zoom and other platforms) and face‑to‑face, using effective coaching techniques.
• Monitor trainer performance, provide feedback and ensure compliance with UKROEd standards.
• Develop and update training materials and contribute to continuous‑improvement projects.
• Coordinate trainer schedules, maintain accurate records and support audit and reporting requirements.
• Assist with health & safety, risk management and business continuity activities.

Required profile

• UKROEd Trainer Licence.
• ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) Licence held for at least one year.
• Proven experience as a driver trainer, coach or instructor.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle less than seven years old.
• Strong administrative, organisational and communication abilities.
