Network Educator – Part‑time Neonatal Education (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The South East Neonatal Operational Delivery Network, in partnership with University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking a part‑time Network Educator to support the Qualified in Specialty (QIS) Programme and other regional educational initiatives. This fixed‑term position (12 months) is designed to complement an existing clinical nursing role, offering 15 hours per week of remote work with regular travel across the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, delivery and evaluation of neonatal education programmes.
• Support practice learning environments and provide guidance to learners and colleagues.
• Collaborate with neonatal units, higher‑education institutions and key stakeholders to enhance workforce development.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and network activities throughout the region.

Required profile

• Experienced neonatal professional with a passion for education and workforce development.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaborative relationships.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Thames Valley and Wessex.
