New Business Sales Director (Sports/Influencers)

About the role

Our client, a global leader in infrastructure and technology ventures, is launching an AI‑driven platform that connects influencers, entertainment and sports brands. They are seeking a New Business Sales Director to drive the go‑to‑market strategy and build the sales pipeline for this innovative product.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the GTM strategy, rapidly building a sales pipeline for the AI tool.
• Establish product presence in key international markets and lead expansion across Phase 1 (Belgium, Switzerland, Mexico) and Phase 2 (Netherlands, US, UK, Germany).
• Develop and nurture critical client relationships, ensuring commercial objectives are met.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the technology team to shape product development and scalability.
• Create compelling sales materials, including case studies, and manage external agencies to achieve strategic goals.
• Monitor the competitive landscape to keep the offering cutting‑edge.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing new business within the sports industry on a domestic or global scale.
• Extensive network (“black book”) of decision‑makers in the sports sector.
• Track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
• Consultative, confident approach to sales and negotiation.
• Highly motivated, sociable personality with a genuine drive to excel.
