Night Handyperson – Mobile Fabric Engineer (London)

About the role
This position is for a night‑time handyperson/fabric engineer working for a boutique facilities management company in Central London. You will be the first point of contact during the night shift (8 pm‑5 am, Monday‑Friday) for building reactive issues and contractor coordination across Zones 1 and 2.
Key responsibilities
- Carpentry tasks including door hanging and general repairs
- Assembling and installing office furniture
- Basic plumbing, drainage and flushing duties
- Testing fire alarms and fire‑door systems
- Grouting and plastering as required
- Repairing building fixtures such as doors, handles and windows
- Basic electrical work – lamp changes and socket replacements
Required profile
- Previous experience as a building services fabric engineer or handyperson in a commercial environment
- Relevant trade qualification (C&G or NVQ) in any trade
- Full UK driving licence
- Eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom

- Salary £40,000‑£45,000 per year
