Night Porter – Hotel Night Shift Role

About the role

We are looking for a Night Porter to join the overnight team at a busy hotel. You will work the night shift, typically from 9:30 pm to 7 am, providing guest services and supporting various hotel operations while the property remains open 24 hours.

Key responsibilities

• Deal with guests' queries in a professional manner.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in public and dining areas.
• Assist with reception duties as required.
• Deliver room service and support the hotel bar.
• Set up conference rooms and other food‑and‑beverage areas for the day’s service.
• Assist the duty manager across all departments as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a quality hotel.
• Experience of night shift work.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure with a positive ‘can‑do’ attitude.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience using a Front Office Management system (e.g., Opera).
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
