Night Porter – Luxury Residential Building

About the role

The Night Porter will be the first point of contact for residents during overnight hours in a luxury residential building. Working a fixed shift from Monday to Thursday, you will ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment while delivering high‑standard concierge service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet residents, handle enquiries, and assist with parcels, shopping bags and suitcases.
• Conduct regular patrols, monitor CCTV, alarms and access‑control systems, and keep all entry points secure.
• Record and manage contractor and visitor details, including key handling and work schedules.
• Receive, store and hand over parcels securely, notifying residents promptly.
• Perform light cleaning of reception and communal areas, keeping them tidy throughout the night.
• Inspect the property for health‑and‑safety risks or maintenance issues and report them immediately.
• Complete detailed handover notes, logging incidents, key movements, and resident interactions at the end of each shift.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a night concierge or similar high‑end residential role is preferred.
• Excellent customer service, professional presentation and strong communication skills.
• Basic IT competence for record‑keeping and communication.
• SIA licence (desirable) and First Aid certification (preferred or willingness to train).
• Good awareness of health‑and‑safety practices and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
