Nursery Assistant – Flexible Shifts in Northwich

About the role

Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to join early years settings across Northwich. You will support children’s daily routines and learning experiences while working alongside experienced room leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Assist room leaders in planning and setting up engaging, play‑based learning activities.
• Work with children individually or in small groups to support their early learning journey.
• Apply knowledge of the EYFS curriculum to guide children safely through the day.
• Supervise and encourage children during meals, snack times and outdoor play.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an early years or education setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS check (or already holding one).
• Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification is highly preferred.
