Nursery Manager – Coton Day Nursery

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead Coton Day Nursery, a well‑established setting attached to Coton C of E Community Primary School. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of care, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting both children and staff to thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the day‑to‑day operations of the nursery.
• Motivate, develop and manage the nursery team.
• Ensure compliance with EYFS framework and safeguarding policies.
• Build strong partnerships with parents and the wider community.
• Drive occupancy rates and overall performance of the setting.
• Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections.
• Support staff wellbeing and professional development.
• Promote a positive, professional team culture.

Required profile

• Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification.
• Previous experience managing a nursery or early years setting.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
• Proven experience leading and developing early years teams.
• Passion for delivering high‑quality childcare.
