Nursery Nurse / Early Years Practitioner – Blackpool

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Nursery Nurse or Early Years Practitioner to join a variety of settings across Blackpool, including local authority, independent and school‑based nurseries. This full‑time, term‑time position offers a supportive environment where you can help young children develop socially, emotionally and cognitively.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.
• Monitor and assess children’s progress in line with the EYFS framework.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive early years approach.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families.
• Facilitate indoor and outdoor creative play, sensory activities and arts.
• Provide a safe, inclusive environment that helps children reach key milestones.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Genuine passion for promoting the well‑being and development of young children.
