About the role
We are partnering with a dynamic IT company located on the outskirts of Leeds to recruit a full‑time Office Assistant on a 10‑month fixed‑term contract. The role is central to the smooth operation of the office, acting as the first point of contact for visitors, facilities issues, and day‑to‑day administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Manage reception duties, greet visitors and handle incoming calls.
- Coordinate cleaning teams, external contractors and maintain a tidy, well‑presented workspace.
- Oversee stationery supplies and ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Arrange travel logistics for the team, both within the UK and overseas.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider team, including document preparation and filing.
- Serve as the first point of contact for facilities‑related queries and resolve issues promptly.
Required profile
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an office‑based administrative role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a car, as travel between locations is required.
Required skills
- Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
