Office Manager – Home Visits Business

About the role

Specsavers is seeking an Office Manager to support its directors in running a customer‑focused Home Visits business from Wembley. You will be central to daily operations, ensuring the team delivers a world‑class experience while driving performance and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example and inspire a customer‑first culture.
• Coach, develop and motivate the team to achieve their best.
• Drive business KPIs and use insights to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training.
• Conduct regular 1‑2‑1s, performance reviews and team meetings.
• Work with Directors to identify improvements and growth opportunities.
• Maintain strong financial controls, including management of bad debt.
• Oversee accurate administration of NHS GOS claims, fees and vouchers.
• Manage clinic diaries, routes and scheduling for maximum efficiency.
• Supervise call‑centre operations and handle customer queries and complaints.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and regulatory standards.
• Build relationships with Care Homes and support business growth.
• Assist with local marketing, community outreach and stock management.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to Directors on projects and tasks.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate a team.
• Current or recent experience in Optics at Supervisor or Assistant Manager level (essential).
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commercial mindset with focus on profitability and efficiency.
