Online Elementary School Teacher (ESL) – 1:1 Tutoring

About the role

Join Cosmo 1:1, a leading online learning platform, as an elementary school ESL teacher. You will deliver 50‑minute, one‑on‑one lessons to K‑12 students based in Singapore and Hong Kong, using the Cosmo curriculum. The role offers a flexible schedule that you set, allowing you to work from a quiet location in the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 ESL instruction for elementary students.
• Prepare and adapt lesson materials to match each student’s age and ability.
• Update your availability promptly in the Cosmo app.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, and Cosmo staff.
• Attend all scheduled classes on time and in a professional setting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 years of experience teaching K‑12 English Language Arts.
• Experience with K‑12 ELA standards and curriculum.
• Experience teaching ESL learners.
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required.
• Fast, reliable internet connection and a Windows or Mac PC.
• Commitment to a minimum of 6 months with Cosmo 1:1.
• Availability of at least 20 hours per week, between 8 AM‑2 PM GMT on weekdays or 5 AM‑2 PM GMT on weekends.
• Private, quiet workspace.
• Passion for helping students learn.
