Online Elementary School Teacher (ESL)

About the role

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking enthusiastic educators to deliver 1‑on‑1 online English lessons to elementary‑aged ESL students in Singapore and Hong Kong. You will conduct 50‑minute weekly sessions, following the Cosmo curriculum, and create a supportive, fun learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction aligned with students' age and ability.
• Prepare and adapt lesson materials for each class.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo app promptly.
• Submit class feedback after every lesson.
• Communicate professionally with parents, students, and Cosmo staff.
• Maintain punctuality and a professional teaching setting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years teaching K‑12 English Language Arts.
• Experience with K‑12 ELA standards and ESL learners.
• Teaching qualification preferred (not mandatory).
• Reliable high‑speed internet and a Windows or Mac PC (minimum CPU 6000).
• Commitment to at least 6 months with Cosmo 1:1.
• Availability of at least 20 hours per week, between 8 AM‑2 PM GMT on weekdays or 5 AM‑2 PM GMT on weekends.
• Quiet private workspace.
• Current residence in the United Kingdom.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Strong internet connectivity.
