Operations Analyst – London Insurance Market

About the role

This position offers a stable, long‑term career within the London insurance market, supporting underwriting activities and ensuring high operational standards. You will join a collaborative Operations team where accuracy, consistency and strong relationships are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Provide central support to underwriting teams and coordinate outsourced service providers.
• Review and improve existing processes, delivering practical enhancements.
• Act as a point of guidance for colleagues and external partners.
• Deliver training on systems and procedural updates.
• Produce operational and performance reports to aid decision‑making.
• Monitor credit control and broker ledger agreements for compliance.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on risk and financial data.
• Support financial processes, including reconciliations and account verification.
• Assist with month‑end reporting activities.
• Provide additional administrative support to the claims team when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in insurance, banking, finance, accounting or compliance.
• Previous experience in an operational or administrative function.
• Strong numerical and analytical capability with confidence handling data.
• Methodical approach and high attention to detail.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge.
