Operations Manager – IT, Facilities & Fleet

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our IT services, facilities operations and fleet management. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on execution to keep services secure, compliant, efficient and cost‑effective.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Managed Service Provider (MSP), monitor SLAs and handle escalations.
• Maintain Cyber Essentials/Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation and overall cyber security.
• Oversee IT assets, user access, backups, disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Lead IT projects and support digital transformation initiatives.
• Supervise office and property operations, lease renewals, moves, insurance and health & safety compliance.
• Administer the company vehicle fleet, including procurement, fuel contracts, insurance claims and GPS tracking.
• Negotiate supplier contracts, manage the contract register and authorise invoices.
• Support budget preparation, monitor spending and provide project management for key initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing MSPs and outsourced IT services.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cyber security, cloud technologies and business continuity.
• Background in facilities, property and fleet management.
• Budget management, contract negotiation and project delivery experience.
• People‑management experience with excellent organisational and stakeholder skills.
