About the role
As the Operations and Relationship Manager for a portfolio of healthcare and community facilities in Manchester, you will ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations while building strong partnerships with tenants, contractors and local stakeholders. The role combines operational oversight, compliance management and community‑focused initiatives to keep buildings safe, welcoming and aligned with organisational goals.
Key responsibilities
- Manage operational performance of a portfolio of healthcare and community buildings.
- Conduct regular building inspections, health‑and‑safety reviews, audits and compliance checks.
- Monitor hard‑ and soft‑FM service delivery, driving continuous improvement.
- Lead tenant‑engagement activities and act as the first point of contact for building users.
- Organise and facilitate stakeholder meetings, inductions and communication programmes.
- Support fire safety, water hygiene, PAT testing and other compliance obligations.
- Coordinate minor works, contractor activities and operational project support.
- Drive customer‑satisfaction initiatives, handling feedback, complaints and service improvements.
- Contribute to sustainability and environmental programmes and promote social value within the community.
Required profile
- Experience in Facilities Management, Estates Management, Property Management or a similar operational environment.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Good knowledge of health‑and‑safety and property compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with tenants, contractors and service providers.
- Excellent organisational, communication and presentation skills.
- Proactive, solutions‑focused approach with capacity to handle multiple priorities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital administration systems.
