Operations Support Coordinator

We are looking for a highly organised and customer‑focused Operations Support Coordinator to join a busy logistics team in Tilbury. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys juggling multiple priorities and acts as the key link between customers, operational teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the central point of contact for customers and internal operational teams.
• Coordinate information across phone, email and internal systems.
• Support planning and delivery of daily operational activities.
• Monitor and update systems to keep data accurate and current.
• Investigate and resolve customer and operational queries.
• Liaise with internal departments and external partners to maintain service standards.
• Manage administrative tasks and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist with reporting and data‑management activities.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement and process‑efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service, coordination, administration or support within the logistics or transport sector.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to manage changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive problem‑solving mindset.
• Ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
