About the role
Specsavers in Stroud is seeking a qualified Optometrist to join its community‑focused team. You will deliver high‑quality eye examinations and patient care, contributing to the store’s growing and loyal customer base.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and prescribe corrective lenses.
- Utilise the latest clinical technology, including Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), to diagnose eye conditions.
- Provide glaucoma assessments and support patients with ongoing eye health needs.
- Collaborate with a friendly, experienced team to ensure an excellent patient experience.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and optional qualifications such as WOPEC, independent prescribing, and paediatric accreditations.
Required profile
- Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC) as an Optometrist.
- Enthusiastic about delivering outstanding patient care.
- Willing to work full‑time or part‑time with flexible scheduling.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) equipment.
