Outreach Tutor – 1:1 Core Subject Support (Part‑time/Full‑time)

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking Outreach Tutors to deliver bespoke 1:1 tuition packages for secondary and primary‑aged learners who currently lack a school placement. This role allows you to step away from the traditional classroom and make a tangible difference to disengaged, at‑risk, and vulnerable pupils.
Key responsibilities
- Create, plan and deliver tailored lessons that bridge gaps across KS1‑KS4 and boost engagement and attainment.
- Provide tutoring within the community or at the pupil’s home in Surrey, adapting timings to suit family needs.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with UK classroom teaching experience.
- Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils, creativity, patience and a flexible approach.
- Right to work in the UK, enhanced DBS (online update service) and two professional child‑related references.

- Competitive hourly rate (£22 – £30 per hour).
- Flexible working hours, part‑time or full‑time options.
- Temporary (fixed‑term) contract until the pupil can reintegrate into a school placement.
