Paid Social Account Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paid Social Account Director to lead best‑in‑class paid social strategies for a portfolio of high‑profile global brands. Based in London with hybrid working, you will shape client strategy, drive innovation and ensure outstanding campaign performance across major social platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute paid social strategies for national and international brands.
• Act as the senior day‑to‑day client contact, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
• Oversee campaign planning, activation, optimisation and performance on Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Snapchat.
• Identify new opportunities, test emerging products and implement best‑practice approaches.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of paid social specialists.
• Collaborate with planning, activation, analytics and client leadership teams to deliver integrated media solutions.
• Present strategic recommendations, performance insights and growth opportunities to senior clients.
• Support new‑business pitches and contribute to the growth of the paid social offering.

Required profile

• Proven track record of leading successful paid social campaigns within an agency environment.
• Strong strategic thinking with a commercial mindset.
• Experience managing and developing high‑performing teams.
• Confidence presenting to senior stakeholders and influencing client decisions.
• Deep understanding of campaign optimisation, measurement frameworks and performance reporting.
