Paralegal – Agriculture & Estates (Newcastle)

About the role

Join a leading North of England law firm as a Paralegal in its highly regarded Agriculture & Estates team based in Newcastle. You will work alongside experienced lawyers, supporting landowners, farming businesses and high‑net‑worth individuals with a broad range of legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with agricultural property and estate planning matters.
• Draft legal documents, correspondence and SDLT returns.
• Handle client enquiries and take new instructions.
• Prepare and submit applications to Land Registry, Probate Registry and Companies House.
• Use case management systems to progress matters efficiently.
• Provide wider support to the team as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Paralegal within a law firm.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive, can‑do attitude and ability to work effectively in a busy team.
• Genuine interest in building a long‑term career in a specialist legal team.
