Paralegal – Residential Property (Guildford)

About the role
We are looking for a motivated Paralegal to join our Residential Property team in Guildford. You will work closely with fee‑earners, providing essential legal and administrative support to ensure smooth property transactions and high‑quality client service.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare correspondence, legal documents and completion statements for residential property deals.
- Manage client files, including opening, closing, storage, retrieval and filing in line with internal procedures.
- Handle administrative duties such as diary management, meeting coordination and document copying.
- Welcome and assist clients and agents in person and by telephone, providing updates throughout the transaction process.
- Complete online forms, including SDLT submissions, and prepare Land Registry applications.
- Obtain information from local authorities and manage registration and post‑completion matters.
- Use the firm’s case management system to maintain accurate records and produce high‑standard documents.
- Support departmental marketing initiatives while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Required profile
- Law graduate or working towards qualification via a recognised Paralegal route.
- Relevant legal experience, preferably within residential property.
- Excellent accuracy, attention to detail and a proactive approach to workload management.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.

- Strong IT skills and proficiency with case management systems.
