Paraplanner – Independent Financial Advice

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a rapidly growing Independent Financial Advice (IFA) business. You will work closely with senior advisers and leadership, supporting complex financial planning cases and contributing to the development of high‑quality paraplanning processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed research, analysis and formulation of financial advice recommendations.
• Prepare accurate, compliant suitability reports and advice letters.
• Provide technical support across investments, pensions, inheritance tax planning, tax‑efficient investments, trusts and protection.
• Collaborate with advisers, administrators, compliance teams and fellow paraplanners to ensure excellent client outcomes.
• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts and assist with complex financial planning cases.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of paraplanning procedures and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in paraplanning within an IFA or wealth‑management environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of investments, pensions, inheritance tax, trusts and protection products.
• Ability to produce client‑focused, compliant documentation.
• Excellent analytical and research skills.
