Part-Time Accounts Semi Senior or Accounts Senior

About the role

This part‑time position is ideal for an experienced accountant who needs flexibility around school hours. You will join a friendly, collaborative practice in Wadebridge, working three days a week on a variety of client accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare year‑end accounts for sole traders and partnerships
• Prepare VAT returns and support clients with bookkeeping
• Prepare personal tax returns
• Post journals and prepare trial balances
• Build strong client relationships and provide day‑to‑day accounting support
• Work with cloud‑based accounting software, primarily Xero

Required profile

• Previous experience in an accountancy practice (essential)
• AAT qualified, part‑qualified, or qualified by experience
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Pro‑active approach to client work
