Part-time Lecturer in Photography (Fixed Term)

About the role

Within the role you will contribute to the delivery and development of high‑quality teaching and learning across the Photography subject area, designing engaging teaching materials, assessing learners and supporting an excellent student experience. You will also drive pedagogical innovation, research and scholarly activity while building strong links with professional networks, industry and relevant subject communities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and develop BA (Hons) Photography teaching, including module planning and assessment.
• Design engaging teaching resources and support an excellent student experience.
• Contribute to research, scholarly activity and pedagogical innovation.
• Maintain quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Support recruitment, promotional activities and broader School administration.

Required profile

• Postgraduate degree in Photography.
• Recent, successful experience of innovative university‑level teaching.
• Track record in research that enriches teaching and student experience.
• PhD or near completion.
• Experience of module planning.
• Employment or work experience in the media/creative industries.
