Parts & Retail Manager

About the role

Ernest Doe & Sons is seeking a proactive Parts & Retail Manager for its Framlingham branch. You will lead the parts department, overseeing the showroom, stock area and a dedicated team to ensure profitability and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the Parts Department, including showroom and goods‑inward areas.
• Lead, coach and develop the parts team to meet performance targets.
• Maintain accurate and effective communication with customers, trade partners and internal sales and service departments.
• Drive departmental profitability and work towards set sales and service objectives.
• Support major accounts and key customers, ensuring timely and accurate parts supply.

Required profile

• Experience or good knowledge of agricultural and ground‑care products and parts (advantageous).
• Previous management or supervisory experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and multitask efficiently.
• Proactive, methodical problem‑solving approach with strong attention to detail.
• Discretion when handling confidential matters.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and meet targets.

Required skills

• Strong IT skills.
