Part‑Time Branch Assistant (Retail)

About the role

Booker is looking for a motivated Part‑Time Branch Assistant to join its Poole store. You will work in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment, helping shoppers find what they need and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service on the shop floor and at the tills.
• Maintain well‑stocked shelves and ensure product availability.
• Accurately pick and prepare items for customer deliveries.
• Support the team in keeping the store tidy, safe and welcoming.
• Assist with price checks, promotions and any ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Positive, can‑do attitude with a passion for helping customers.
• Willingness to go the extra mile and work flexible opening hours.
• Reliability – punctual, presentable and ready to work.
• Minimum age of 17 years.
• Previous experience in a wholesale or retail setting is desirable.
