Part‑Time Night Registered Nurse – Dementia Care

About the role

South Coast Nursing Homes is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to work night shifts on a part‑time basis at the Abundant Grace dementia care home in Seaford. You will join an experienced clinical team delivering proactive and reactive care for residents with complex needs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of patient care, health, safety and welfare for all residents.
• Champion resident choice and autonomy while ensuring dignified, respectful treatment.
• Support and, when required, manage the care team during night shifts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide excellent resident care and clear communication.
• Foster relationships with families, advocates and next‑of‑kin, keeping them informed of changes.
• Complete comprehensive, timely documentation, including individualized care plans and updates.

Required profile

• Registered nursing degree (or higher) recognised in the UK.
• Previous nursing experience in the UK, preferably in geriatric, frailty, end‑of‑life or dementia care.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and achieve satisfactory outcomes.
• Strong verbal and non‑verbal reporting skills.
• Hands‑on approach to clinical work.
