Part‑time Nursery Practitioner (Cache Level 3) – Eastbourne

About the role

We are looking for a caring Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly early years setting in Eastbourne on a part‑time, temporary basis. The role starts in September and involves supporting children within the EYFS framework, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering age‑appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming nursery environment.
• Support children’s personal, social and emotional growth through positive interactions.
• Collaborate with senior staff to monitor and record children’s progress.

Required profile

• Cache Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) – essential.
• Previous experience working in an EYFS setting.
• A caring, patient and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
