About the role
We are looking for a caring Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly early years setting in Eastbourne on a part‑time, temporary basis. The role starts in September and involves supporting children within the EYFS framework, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning and delivering age‑appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming nursery environment.
- Support children’s personal, social and emotional growth through positive interactions.
- Collaborate with senior staff to monitor and record children’s progress.
Required profile
- Cache Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) – essential.
- Previous experience working in an EYFS setting.
- A caring, patient and positive attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Required skills
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
