Part‑time Purchase Ledger Clerk (Finance)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a well‑established finance team in Leeds. The role offers flexible hours and the chance to work with Sage 50 on a variety of supplier‑related tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries and maintain good relationships.
• Set up new suppliers, clients, subcontractors and projects in Sage 50.
• Process transactions, perform statement and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain supplier ledgers and monitor credit status.
• Manage the accounts and tickets email inbox, reviewing and updating records regularly.
• Support administrative tasks for new software implementation and assist with audits and discrepancy resolution.

Required profile

• GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
• Previous experience in a purchase ledger or similar finance role.
• Proficiency with Sage 50 accounts.
• Strong numeracy, literacy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and time‑keeping skills.
