Payroll and Benefits Specialist (Part‑Time, Hybrid)

About the role

A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join its HR team on a part‑time, fixed‑term basis. You will act as the subject‑matter expert for payroll and benefits, overseeing end‑to‑end delivery across UK and offshore entities while collaborating with internal teams and external providers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and process monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage payroll reporting, HMRC requirements and reconciliations.
• Serve as the primary contact for payroll and benefits queries.
• Administer benefits and pension schemes, including renewals and enrolment.
• Maintain provider relationships and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Support audits, regulatory requirements, and international assignments.

Required profile

• Strong UK payroll experience, preferably with ADP or a similar system.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables.
• Experience with benefits and pension administration.
• Knowledge of flexible benefits platforms (desirable).
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and effective stakeholder manager.
