PE Teacher – Secondary Schools, Exeter (Part‑time/Temporary)

About the role

Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic Physical Education teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in Exeter and the surrounding area. Positions are available for a September start and include full‑time, part‑time, long‑term assignments and day‑to‑day supply work.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that inspire students to enjoy sport and physical activity.
• Promote healthy lifestyles and encourage participation across all ability levels.
• Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school community.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching PE at secondary level.
• Passion for promoting health and wellbeing among young people.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
