Personal Tax Manager – Doncaster

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Personal Tax Manager to join our Doncaster office. The role offers flexible and hybrid working within a growing national accountancy and business advisory group, combining a local practice feel with national resources.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Review and prepare personal tax returns and supporting computations, including complex cases.
• Advise clients on a wide range of personal tax matters and identify additional support opportunities.
• Ensure all submissions meet HMRC deadlines and compliance standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building long‑term relationships.
• Liaise with accounts, corporate tax and specialist teams to provide integrated advice.
• Coach, support and review the work of junior colleagues.
• Contribute to internal projects, process improvements and the development of the tax team.
• Support the growth of the Doncaster office alongside senior colleagues.

Required profile

• Minimum of four years’ experience in personal tax within an accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of UK personal tax compliance and current HMRC requirements.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver accurate tax solutions.
