Pharmacy Technician – Hospital (Full‑time)

About the role
We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join the expanding pharmacy team at Woodland Hospital in Kettering. This full‑time position (37.5 hours per week) supports the Pharmacy Manager in delivering safe and efficient pharmacy services for both in‑patients and out‑patients.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and issue prescriptions in line with Ramsay Health Care policies.
- Assist in the manufacture of pharmacy goods and preparation of medicines.
- Support pharmacists by regularly checking Inpatient Prescription Record Charts for clinical and financial appropriateness.
- Provide advice to patients, carers, and clinical staff on pharmaceutical products.
- Supervise, train and coach new staff where applicable.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to GPhC standards of conduct, ethics and performance.
- Participate in weekend and bank‑holiday rotas on a rotational basis.
Required profile
- NVQ Level 3, BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science or an equivalent qualification.
- Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- At least four GCSEs (A‑C) including English, Maths and Science, or equivalent qualifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced pharmacy environment.
