PHP Web Developer

About the role

Our client, a successful digital design and development agency, is looking for a PHP Web Developer to join their growing team. The role offers a hybrid working pattern (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) and a supportive environment focused on career progression and continuous learning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Design, implement, and optimise MySQL databases.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers to integrate HTML, CSS, and JavaScript components.
• Work with Apache servers on Linux or Windows environments.
• Follow modern coding conventions such as OOP and MVC architecture.
• Participate in regular innovation sessions to improve processes and product quality.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming (OOP) and MVC principles.
• Experience or hands‑on exposure to development frameworks, preferably Laravel.
• Motivation to grow within a small agency where ideas are valued.
• Willingness to engage in regular training and personal development.
