Pipefitter – Commercial Installation (Wantage)

About the role
We are seeking experienced Pipefitters for a commercial installation project in Wantage. The role offers a 39‑hour week, working 07:30‑16:00 with an early finish on Fridays, for an initial period of 4‑6 weeks and the possibility of longer‑term work on the same site.
Key responsibilities
- Install screwed iron pipework according to project specifications.
- Fit crimped copper pipework and ensure proper connections.
- Lay and connect plastic waste pipework.
- Interpret technical drawings and follow health & safety guidelines.
- Maintain tools and keep the work area tidy.
Required profile
- Valid CSCS or JIB card in a relevant trade (Plumber, Mechanical Pipefitter, H&V).
- Checkable work references demonstrating pipefitting experience.
- Availability to work the stated hours and early Friday finish.
Required skills
- Installation of screwed iron pipework.
- Installation of crimped copper pipework.
- Installation of plastic waste pipework.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Use of pipefitting tools and equipment.
What we offer
- Competitive hourly rate of £31.00 per hour (CIS/UMB/LTD).
- Alternative PAYE rate of £23.00 per hour if preferred.
- Full‑time schedule with potential for extended employment.
