Plant Operator

About the role
MRD Plant Ltd is seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join its growing team on a full‑time, permanent basis. You will operate mobile crushing and screening equipment across multiple sites in the Midlands, supporting projects in recycling, construction, quarrying and mining.
Key responsibilities
- Operate crushers and screening plants independently on various job sites.
- Run loading shovels and excavators as required for earthworks and material handling.
- Maintain equipment in safe working order and adhere to all health and safety procedures.
- Travel between sites in Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Warwickshire and surrounding areas.
Required profile
- Proven experience operating crushing, screening, loading shovel and excavator equipment.
- Reliable, hardworking and safety‑conscious.
- Relevant CPCS or NPORS tickets are preferred.
