Platform Engineer – DevOps (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Platform Engineer with a strong DevOps focus to join a leading global technology consultancy. The role involves designing, building and supporting cloud‑native platforms for large‑scale digital transformation programmes across public and private sectors. You will work in a collaborative engineering community, using modern cloud technologies and AI‑assisted tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and support cloud‑native platforms on AWS.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and Terraform.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployments.
• Manage production Kubernetes environments.
• Drive DevOps best practices and improve platform reliability, scalability and security.
• Implement monitoring, observability and automation for system resilience.
• Contribute to technical communities and share engineering knowledge.

Required profile

• Eligible for BPSS and SC security clearance (5 years continuous UK address history).
• Proven experience with AWS core services.
• Hands‑on experience managing Kubernetes in production.
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, Terraform).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and using DevOps tooling.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket.
• Worked in Agile delivery teams.
