Plumbing & Gas Tutor/Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Plumbing and Gas Tutor/Assessor to deliver Level 3 apprenticeships and short courses across Cambridgeshire. The role involves both practical and theoretical training, supporting learners to achieve competence and succeed at their End Point Assessment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Plumbing and Domestic Heating apprenticeships (Level 3) and related short courses.
• Develop and implement learning resources and training materials.
• Maintain accurate documentation of learner progress and assessment outcomes.
• Identify and overcome barriers to learning, adapting delivery to individual needs.
• Prepare learners thoroughly for their End Point Assessment.

Required profile

• Qualified plumber with at least a Level 3 qualification.
• Minimum five years’ experience in plumbing.
• Gas Safe registration.
• Professional, confident communicator able to inspire and motivate learners.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
