PMO Reporting Analyst – Digital & IT (SC Cleared)

About the role

This contract role supports a leading Defence & Security organisation in Bristol, providing senior‑level reporting and governance insight for a busy Digital & IT portfolio. The position is hybrid, requiring one day per week on‑site, and demands SC clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, validate and manage performance data across the Digital Solutions portfolio.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel.
• Produce standard and ad‑hoc reporting packs for PMO leadership and stakeholders.
• Automate reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
• Analyse performance trends, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Support governance activities such as gates, reviews and assurance with data‑driven insight.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO reporting frameworks and tools.
• Assist with general PMO administration tasks as required.

Required profile

• Experience in a PMO, project controls, reporting analyst or data analyst role within a complex environment.
• Strong analytical capability and comfort handling large data sets.
• High attention to detail with a focus on data quality.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.

• Power BI (or similar visualisation tool)
• Advanced Excel, including Power Query, pivot tables and complex formulas
• Power Automate
• Python
• SQL
• SAP (nice‑to‑have)
• JIRA (nice‑to‑have)
