Portfolio Surveyor

About the role

Time Recruitment is partnering with a leading UK property group to recruit an experienced Portfolio Surveyor for their Portfolio Management team in Wilmslow. You will be responsible for a defined portfolio of commercial assets, acting as the main point of contact for occupiers and collaborating with internal surveying, facilities and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial properties, handling rent reviews, lease renewals, re‑gears, lease restructuring, assignments and sub‑lettings.
• Serve as the primary occupier contact, building strong professional relationships and delivering high‑quality service.
• Identify opportunities to improve asset performance and income, and implement enhancements.
• Conduct regular property inspections and work with Building Surveying and Facilities Management on condition and planning.
• Oversee service charge budgeting, reconciliation and cost optimisation in partnership with Finance and FM teams.
• Support business rates management and provide guidance to on‑site building managers.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and all statutory obligations.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in commercial property management.
• MRICS qualification preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication, negotiation and organisational abilities.
• Collaborative mindset with a commitment to delivering high standards.
