Postperson with Driving – Full‑time

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postperson with Driving, delivering letters and parcels across Chepstow and surrounding areas. This permanent, full‑time position offers a mix of morning and afternoon shifts, with occasional Sunday work at the Newport East Delivery Office.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver letters between 07:50‑15:30 or parcels between 10:00‑17:30, Monday to Sunday.
• Cover one in three Sundays, working 12:00‑18:00 at Newport East.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer enquiries professionally.
• Ensure safe operation of the vehicle and compliance with Royal Mail policies.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Comfortable walking long periods and working outdoors in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and pride in the role.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
