PR Assistant – Japanese Cultural Events

About the role

This 6‑month temporary position supports the promotion and operation of Japanese cultural events in West London. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth event delivery and effective public relations.

Key responsibilities

• Create event documentation such as programmes and questionnaires.
• Manage visitor data, contact VIPs, and handle pre‑event logistics.
• Distribute materials on‑site, provide visitor support, and assist with operational tasks.
• Develop business marketing assets, including electronic flyers.
• Compile survey results and perform general administrative duties.

Required profile

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written English with no need for proofreading.
• Interest in Japanese culture and the arts.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
