PR & Communications Executive – Legal Services

About the role

We are seeking a PR & Communications Executive to join our Marketing & Business Development team within a leading law firm. The role works closely with senior lawyers and business development colleagues to raise the firm’s profile through strategic media engagement, compelling content and proactive campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver proactive PR campaigns across national, trade and legal media.
• Draft press releases, articles, media pitches and other communications material.
• Monitor legal, business and financial news to identify media opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists and internal stakeholders.
• Support media enquiries, awards submissions and social‑media activity.
• Explore the use of AI tools to improve PR processes and efficiency.

Required profile

• Previous PR and communications experience in a professional or financial services environment.
• Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to build relationships, spot opportunities and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced setting.
• Interest in business, financial or legal news is highly advantageous.
